Warranty

At Berglite, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We are pleased to offer a comprehensive 3-year limited warranty on the metal structure of our products and a 1-year limited warranty on the following components:

  • Tabletop (sintered stone, composite wood),
  • Cushion fabric, pillow, foam, fabric cover,
  • Outdoor solar light, woven parts, teak armrest.

This warranty covers any defects resulting from manufacturer-related issues that may occur during residential, non-commercial usage.

Berglite will provide replacement part(s) at no charge, with a lead time of 4-12 weeks. The customer is responsible for any labor and/or shipping charges for the replacement part(s).

Coverage and Terms

Our limited warranty covers:

  • Defective parts that arise due to manufacturing defects.
  • Components that are faulty or malfunction due to factors beyond your control.

Please note the following terms and conditions:

  • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase.
  • Applicable only to the original purchaser, the warranty is non-transferable.
  • Covers manufacturing-related defects only; excludes regular wear and tear, misuse, improper assembly, or negligence.
  • Any consumer-made modifications or alterations to the product will void the warranty.
  • Not covered: problems caused by abuse, misuse, acts of nature (such as wind, flood, freezing water – including splitting and breakage from water accumulation in tubing), animal damage, burn marks (including those resulting from sunlight passing through glass filled with liquid which can at certain times act as a magnifying lens), fading, staining, mildewing of fabrics, compression of cushion fillings/fiber, and failure to take reasonable care of the furniture, including proper care and maintenance. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty.
  • Coverage terminates upon the sale or transfer of the furniture. The warranty is considered void if the products are removed from mainland Canada.
  • Outdoor furniture should be covered during winter to avoid freezing water damage.
  • Electrical component failures for lighting and standing desks are covered by Berglite Warranty for 90 calendar days.

Warranty Process

Should you encounter any issues covered by the warranty, here's how our process works:

  1. Contact Customer Support: If you identify a defect or faulty component covered by the warranty, please contact our customer support team. They will guide you through the process and assess the issue.
  2. Provide Necessary Details: Our customer support team will ask for details about the issue and may request photos for assessment.
  3. Sending Defective Parts: If the issue is covered by the warranty, we will send you a return label for the defective part(s). Please disassemble and securely pack the defective part(s) in the original packaging.
  4. Sending New Item: Once we receive the defective part(s), after completing necessary inspection, we will promptly send you a replacement. We'll provide you with tracking information so you can monitor the shipment's progress.
  5. Installation: Upon receiving the replacement part(s), follow our provided instructions to replace the defective part(s). Our customer support team is available to guide you through the process if needed.

 

Void Warranty

We reserve the right to void this warranty policy if we determine that the customer has caused damage to the product, if the customer provides us with misleading information in the return request, or if there is another reasonable reason for us to void this warranty.
